One of the things you will notice when you have a good look at natural grass, is how its blades are standing in different directions. It is like each single blade is trying to find its own way up. This is something that would not be found in artificial grass, until Royal Grass® came with its special ReaDY® technology. With this technology, Royal Grass® is able to copy the characteristics of natural grass almost perfectly. The blades of artificial turf have their own growth direction and are looking more realistic than ever before. Thanks to ReaDY® technology, artificial grass can now have that wild and natural look that natural grass has.
ReaDY® technology in brief
The acronym ReaDY® stands for Realistic Direction Yarn. Artificial grass made with this technology has fibres that are pointing in different directions, just like natural grass. This distinguishes our artificial turf from that of other brands. Their products have fibres that are all still standing in one and the same direction.
We currently offer three wonderful types of artificial turf products manufactured with this unique ReaDY® technology: Royal Grass® Sense, Royal Grass® Wave and Royal Grass® Lush.
Royal Grass® has three beautiful types of artificial grass in its collection that have been made with this innovative ReaDY® technology. The popular Royal Grass® Sense, successfully introduced in 2016, is now accompanied by Royal Grass® Lush and Wave.
Royal Grass® Sense – 52mm
Is a wild and rugged looking lawn just what you want? In that case we recommend Royal Grass® Sense. The fibres have a height of 52 mm; nice and long. As the fibres have a natural growth direction, your lawn will look like an untamed natural field of grass. Royal Grass® Sense is the perfect solution for a decorative lawn and can be used by playing kids or pets.
Royal Grass® Wave – 36mm
The newest addition to the Royal Grass® portfolio is Royal Grass® Wave. This product has shorter blades than those of Royal Grass® Sense. If you want your lawn to look like it has been mowed just a couple of days ago, this is the type of artificial turf for you. Like Sense, Royal Grass® Wave is ideal for a decorative lawn and is also strong enough to endure children and pets playing on it.

Advantages of artificial grass with ReaDY®
The most obvious advantage of our unique ReaDY® technology is the extraordinary natural look it gives the turf. But there is more: artificial grass with ReaDY® technology looks stunning no matter where you stand as the fibres each have their own growth direction.
When you look at artificial grass, you do not want to look at the backs of the blades of grass, but rather at the fibres directly. For this reason, most artificial grass products are installed in such a way that you will see the front of the blades from the position where you stand or sit most of the time. However, if you look at the grass from another perspective, it will not look so great anymore.
The fibres of Royal Grass® Sense and Royal Grass® Wave stand in every direction. This means that these products look great no matter your viewing angle. During the installation of the artificial grass carpet it is also easier to connect the seams.
The development of ReaDY®
It is our goal to create artificial turf products that look highly realistic. In order to realise this, Royal Grass® is conducting ongoing research into the attributes of natural grass. We are examining these attributes in detail, so we can reproduce them as truthfully as we can. Over time, we have been able to develop a number of innovations, for instance our V shape® and MiNT® technology, and now we have created the ReaDY® technology.
